Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Pigeon (the "Service"), an email-triage service that connects to your mailboxes and a messaging channel you already use, summarizes incoming email, sorts each message into one of three categories — requires action, important, or status/noise — and delivers a ranked digest through the channel you choose. The Service is provided by cvForge (KvK: 84783427), a business based in the Netherlands, operating getmailpigeon.com ("Pigeon", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, connecting a mailbox, or otherwise using the Service, you ("you" or "Customer") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Pigeon connects to one or more mailboxes you authorize and a messaging channel of your choosing. For each incoming email, Pigeon generates a one-sentence summary and classifies it into a bucket. Depending on your configured delivery mode, Pigeon sends you either a once-a-day digest of all triaged messages (ranked, most important first) or, in quiet mode, stays silent until a "requires action" email arrives and then sends a ranked digest of all messages since the last successful delivery. Pigeon does not reply to, delete, move, or otherwise modify your email on your behalf unless you separately configure and authorize such a feature.
3. Accounts and authorization
To use the Service you must connect at least one mailbox (for example, a Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Entra-managed mailbox or another supported provider) and grant Pigeon the permissions necessary to read and triage incoming mail, as described in our Privacy Statement. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any mailbox you authorize, including any organizational approvals required by your employer or tenant administrator. You may disconnect a mailbox or revoke Pigeon's access at any time through your account settings or directly through your identity provider (for example, the "My Apps" / enterprise applications page in Microsoft Entra ID).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process mailboxes you are not authorized to access;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service;
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third party's rights; or
- Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our prior written consent.
5. Fees
Current pricing, if any, will be presented to you when you sign up or is available on our website. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes to pricing for existing subscriptions.
6. Intellectual property
Pigeon and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, branding, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Pigeon's trademarks or branding. You retain all rights to your own data, including the content of your mailboxes.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Summaries and classifications generated by Pigeon are produced by automated and AI-assisted processes and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Pigeon is a triage aid, not a substitute for reading your own email, and we do not guarantee that every message requiring your attention will be correctly identified. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pigeon will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your mailboxes at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will provide reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Statement.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
